When I lived back home, we used to live next door to Doña Norma. She usually wore a scowl on her face, curlers on her head and a muumuu. Despite her cranky exterior, she had a good heart. She was the official voluntary hotel for the neighborhood felines. She had about 30 cats living on her premises. The place REEKED. One day, Doña Norma sprayed insecticide around her garden. She completely forgot she had 2 female cats that were pregnant. Well, I don't want to go into specifics, but those were the scariest kittens I EVER saw. Some came out with only one eye, others were missing an ear. But Doña Norma, patron saint of stray cats, bless her soul, kept them anyway. And they went on reproducing, even to this day.

great drawing
HA! I wouldn't want to meet her or her cats!
Thanks for the compliment Damon!
Gabe, I think you've seen her. Or at least smelled her house.
Cool story and great pic Sandra!! Also freakin' love the vinyl toys you painted up, they're awesome!!!
Thanks Muk! You're too nice
My mom would wear the same outfit and hairdo when she dropped me off at school. I love it! you sure you haven't met my mom?
Lovely work! A one eyed cat would make a heck of a side kick.
scary story - but fabulous work - what great detail in your work.
My cousins had a one-eyed cat named Willy. He was the coolest one eyed cat ever, but I'm sure Dona Norma's are a close second. It's always good to show the neighborhood cat lady some love. Nice stuff!
I think you grew up in a movie populated by nothing but colorful eccentrics portrayed by awesome Mexican character actors. It's just a theory, but it explains alot.
Wicked fun character!
hehe, awesome stuff!
